Zanat

The designer's goal was to create a stackable, stable chair made entirely of solid wood, with a soft, minimalist, yet humane design language.

The Unna Chair, as highlighted by the jury of the Swedish Golden Chair Award, is an exceptionally comfortable wooden chair with a finely curved seat and backrest, crafted from solid wooden elements.

It can be customized using Zanat's ingenious carving techniques. The ornaments, inspired by traditional Konjić woodcarving patterns, have been given a modern interpretation, while preserving the original technique and tools.

In black- or wenge-stained versions, the carvings can be left natural upon request to create an attractive contrast with the light wood.

For additional comfort, an optional, magnetically attachable leather cushion is available.

The Unna Chair won the 2015 Interior Innovation Award from the German Design Council and the Golden Chair Award from the Swedish Association of Architects.
