Cesta

Santa & Cole

A walk through Barcelona in the 1960s inspired designer Miguel Milá to create this design: He found an abandoned opal glass sphere in front of a glass factory, which later became the centerpiece of an entire family of lamps. As the name "Cesta" (Spanish for "basket") suggests, the lamp was designed as a protective frame for the fragile shade.
